In big cities like Rome you can find a large range of different hostels. In order for you to make your choice easier regarding all the offers, I have put together for you a top 10 of the best hostels in Rome. Enjoy!

Top 10 Hostels Rome: A question of price, facilities and location

Perhaps the biggest advantage of the hostels compared to hotels is the low price. But there are also other factors that make you choose a hostel. Especially for solo travelers are hostels a popular alternative to the hotel or bed and breakfast, as there is usually fast connection to other travelers. Most hostels offer, in addition to various private rooms or dormitories, fully equipped communal kitchens, cozy lounges with comfortable couches, kickers or even game consoles. This ensures that you can feel a bit like home even in the distance. How high or low your equipment requirements are you can judge for yourself.

Personally, apart from security and cleanliness, the location of the hostel is particularly important. Especially if I’m only on a short trip and want to see as much of the city in a short time. Most of the hostels in Rome can be found around the main train station Roma Termini.

This is a strategic strategic position for Rome, as you will not only reach Rome’s city center and most of the historic sites within walking distance, but also the subway lines A and B are both close by. But depending on personal preferences, completely different quarters may be considered. Therefore, in my top 10 of the best hostels in Rome, besides the typical positions in the center (around Termini station), I also recommend a few other parts of the city. Just read yourself!
